Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using NodeSkela, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the platform.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use NodeSkela. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Account Registration
- • NodeSkela is invite-only. You must receive an invite link from an existing member to join.
- • You must provide a valid email address and set a 4-digit PIN.
- • You are responsible for keeping your PIN secure and for all activity under your account.
- • You may not share your account or invite links with unauthorized individuals.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- • Use NodeSkela for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law.
- • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other members.
- • Post content that is hateful, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
- • Share copyrighted material, pirated content, or material you do not have the rights to distribute.
- • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation.
- • Create accounts using false information.
- • Use automated tools to access or scrape the platform.
Content & Copyright
- • You retain ownership of content you post (messages, thoughts, profile info).
- • You grant NodeSkela a non-exclusive license to display your content within your group context.
- • You are solely responsible for the content you post and for ensuring you have the rights to any material, links, or attachments you share.
- • Do not post content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other rights of any third party, including copyrighted articles pasted in full, pirated material, or unauthorized media.
- • External links are provided by members for convenience. NodeSkela does not endorse, control, or verify them. You access external links at your own risk.
- • NodeSkela does not pre-screen member content. We rely on reports from group creators and members to address violations.
- • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, at our discretion and upon notice.
- • Repeat infringers: we will terminate the accounts of members who repeatedly post infringing content.
- • To report infringing or violating content, use the report option on a message or contact your group creator. We will review and remove reported content upon a valid notice.
Groups & Invites
- • Group creators are responsible for managing their group's membership and access.
- • Invite links are single-use and expire after 15 minutes if unused. Do not post invite links publicly.
- • Group access keys are shared secrets. You are responsible for keeping your group's access key confidential; anyone who obtains it can enter the group until the creator regenerates it.
- • Members inactive for extended periods may be removed by the system or group creator.
- • Feature availability depends on group size and activity levels.
Termination
You may stop using NodeSkela at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. Group creators may remove members from their groups at any time.
Disclaimer
NodeSkela is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the platform at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NodeSkela shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of NodeSkela after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
